"It’s always been somewhat of a personal ritual to shave my head when I’m not feeling good about myself in order to force myself to love myself and feel pretty even without hair, hair =/= femininity and I think it’s important to remember that and to remind myself of that. I think every woman should shave her head at least once as an exercise in self love, empowerment and liberation from gender roles."
